08.1936: Naval Service of Basque Militias (Euzko Gudaroztearen Itsas ZerbitzuenServicios Marítimos de las Milicias Vascas) formed with few fishing boats (commander: José María Burgaña Belaustegi)
25.10.1936: auxiliary navy established (co-operating with Spanish Republican navy, but subordinated to Basque authorities)
08.1937: ended activity (due to loss of Donostia, last main base), most of vessels escaped to French ports
10/11.1937: disbanded
